Metro Imaging Purchases Three New 1.5T High-Field Non-Claustrophobic MRI Units

Metro Imaging recently purchased three new 1.5T high-field non-claustrophobic Siemens MAGNETOM Espree MRI units. One has already arrived at Metro Imaging's West County office; the other two units will be arriving soon at Richmond Heights (March, 2014) and North County (May, 2014). Metro Imaging's South County and St. Peters offices already feature the high-field non-claustrophobic Hitachi Oasis MRI.

The MAGNETOM Espree is comfortable, compact and accurate.

  • The opening accommodates patients of all sizes and is perfect for those who get anxious during an MRI.
  • One foot of spacious headroom: you’ll no longer feel like you’re nose-to-nose with the top of the magnet.
  • Due to its short design, most exams can be done with your head outside of the system.
  • 1.5 Tesla: Most importantly, its high power delivers excellent images. So you can rest easy inside and also rest easy with a confident diagnosis.
